Big Image Expo

In the inaugural edition of the International Food & Agriculture Exhibition (FoodAg-2023), organized by the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP), the National Logistics Corporation (NLC) carved an indelible mark through its striking stall, earning resounding acclaim from both domestic and international exhibitors and delegates.

Under the overarching theme of “Growing a Sustainable Future,” this global exposition saw the convergence of 250 exhibitors hailing from nearly 55 nations, effectively establishing a universal platform for enterprises involved in the food and agricultural sectors.

Amidst this grand spectacle, NLC, as the exclusive logistics entity, stood as a beacon of excellence, boasting a dedicated stall where it showcased its comprehensive and versatile multimodal logistics solutions. NLC’s presentation resonated with a diverse audience, comprising delegates, local enthusiasts, and international visitors, who were keen to explore the logistics giant’s offerings.

In tandem with the exhibition, NLC’s top brass, led by Major General Farrukh Shahzad Rao, the Director-General of NLC, orchestrated a series of high-profile meetings with representatives from various nations and multinational corporations. These interactions laid the foundation for promising connections, fostering collaborative opportunities on the sidelines of the event.

Visiting delegates were enlightened about NLC’s illustrious legacy, spanning over four decades, and its proven track record in seamlessly transporting all types of cargo to destinations across Pakistan via road, rail, sea, and air. NLC’s notable achievements include the successful establishment of overland cargo routes connecting to Central Asian Republics (CARs), Azerbaijan, Turkey, and China, further bolstered by its participation in the Transport Internationaux Routiers (TIR) framework and bilateral trade agreements.

These endeavors have not only facilitated importers and exporters but have also opened new avenues and untapped markets for their products. In addition, NLC’s landmark initiatives in regional connectivity have paved the way for the shortest routes to warm waters, particularly benefiting landlocked Central Asian Republics.

The resounding success of NLC’s stall at the International Food & Agriculture Exhibition (FoodAg-2023) stands as a testament to the pivotal role played by the Big Image Expo in propelling NLC to the forefront of the logistics industry. This platform not only showcased NLC’s capabilities but also facilitated invaluable networking and collaboration opportunities that will undoubtedly contribute to the sustainable growth of the organization and the industries it serves.
